To produce the documentary I worked directly with the Icelandic Environmental Association to cast a diverse selection of characters whose voices spoke to the different ways in which this precious land must be protected.

We spent three weeks in the remote highlands interviewing farmers, scientists, geologists, and politicians. Progressively we captured the inextricable link between the people of Iceland and their precious, fragile environment.

THE HIGHLAND PROJECT

SERVICE: FILM, PHOTOGRAPHY, PRINT & DIGITAL

The Highland Project is an environmental initiative from director Darren Aronofsky, Björk, Iceland Nature Conservation Association (INCA) and Landvernd, the Icelandic Environment Association. I was asked to produce a documentary that illustrates the Icelandic people's connection to one of Europe's last and largest untouched wilderness.
